From an article on GA's website

Ko wandered up the clubhouse stairs to make her last brief scheduled stop at the champion’s cocktail party, then quietly slipped an envelope containing $500 into the hands of assistant GM Andrea Watson to kickstart the staff’s “after-party”.

Yep, then became the Kraft Nabisco, and now the ANA Inspiration.

In the absence of a PGA event this week I thought some may have had some interest in the LPGA Major. Apparently not.

Anyway, at age 18, Ms Ko is now the youngest ever winner of a major, to go with her many other accomplishments.

It seems strange to say this about someone her age, but she needed to win a major. You shouldn't be able to be ranked 1 unless you can win majors. Luke Donald and Lee Westwood might disagree I suppose, but majors are where the action is, and until now Lydia hasn't quite been a factor the way she should have been.

She is an amazing player. The way she was laughing and so relaxed on her way around the back nine is incredible. She knew she was playing great and just let it happen. The guys on tour think they are the sh%t but this girl is the one to watch. She takes it for what it is (a game) and enjoys herself. When she's playing ordinary, she doesn't win, but she doesn't moan about it. When she's on, I don't think anyone gets near her as shown in France this week. She's great to watch too. Her short game is amazing.

So is Maza. I think he was taking an ANZAC approach to this one.
