Tentatively yes. I'll confirm for sure in a couple weeks, but can't see why i wouldn't be able to.

Sign up a couple dummy names to keep it a two ball?

    Will do
You want any spectators (Nuffie wants to see real golfs play)

I will get VF to see if he can use his special powers to book that time for us

Or they could sign you up and fill both slots at once.

It would be nice to get Nuffster back on to Harty, but I don't know if they will let him play with his PGN handicap.

I knew the dummy names comment would get jumped on, but not by that many.

    Gold comeback Yoss.

That one popped into my head when I was sitting in traffic. I figured a few people would love that.

Veeman and JC, let me know before the comp opens for bookins what names you want down and I will organise it. If it is a sunday non-members will be able to play. If it is non-golflink holders then I should be able to get them on but obviously they won't be able to play in the comp.

A social hit will do just fine Veefore, my golflink handicap is no longer valid.

Change of circumstances. I am no longer in a position to be able to help out with the booking.
One of the members will have to do it when the timesheet opens up.

    Oh no. What happened V?

Shouldn't be an issue. The later morning spots on Sunday seldom fill.

Nothing at all. My lack of interest has been there for a while. A meeting at work today kinda tipped the scales.
The hardest part was telling Don and John that I couldn't be part of the plan they had going forward. I really felt like I let them down.
I don't think it's permanent. Maybe when things get settled down with work and my health I'll go back. Who knows?

Sunday mornings can sometimes get busy but Veeman is pretty quick on the draw when it comes to doing the bookings so shouldn't be a problem.

    Sounds good.

Work sucks. You are obviously trying too hard. Go hire Office Space and you'll see that doIng less is better for you in the lOng run.

Work is really depressing at the moment, with 450 people knowing that they are not going to have a job there within 12 months or so. A lot of us have been acting at higher levels for a long time, 4 plus years in my case, and are being shuffled down and replaced by people who have no skills at what we are doing but have the substantive levels.

I found out Friday that what I was told Thursday wasn't completely correct and my position at work isn't likely to change until the end of september. If this is true it means that I won't have to worry about cancelling/reducing my membership until then. At least I will stil be able to marshal for the club champs as I promised John I would.

Touch wood, things work out for the better Veefore, hang in there. My situation is very similar to yours, pressure increasing exponentially, health is being knocked around with all the travelling/long hrs and no time for golf. But we will both get through. In a few months once my life as a consultant ends and begins on the mines, I will get you onto to the vines for a few rounds when I'm off and when I sort out a membership lease, and we will get to cottesloe and LKCC for our social games. It might just take a bit of time.

I hope that soon I'll be back playing regular golf. Maybe I'll have a mining job in a week or so, I've passed a medical and had a site visit. An 8/6 roster will work great for both weekend/weekday golf. More time to get chores done, relax, socialise, more time to play golf and interact in the ozgolf circle.

Hopefully Veeman can work some magic, the new cleveland driver will be here by then but if I can't play I will spectate and caddie. Its going to be a great match.
