*no i havent used them, i just got the info off their website
That is a good deal. The current exchange rate at the moment is unfortunate.

I have used priceusa before and they were quite good.

Thanks, I have a mate in Utah who's going to contact Callaway HQ to see if they still sell them.

sadly, some (or all) of these shipping companies are collecting AU GST for the total value of goods shipped, for totals under $1000. they dont charge if over $1000 because you get slugged anyway on arrival in AU.

Isn’t it the seller’s job to collect?

AFAIK the big online sellers were told they had to comply ( or else?) but small players i guess the ATO didnt care about.

I ordered something last week from Golfworks in the US for $1250.00 AUD and expected to pay $125 gst on arrival. I just got a message from FedEx advising that I’m up for the $125 gst + $56 duty + $88 Customs electronic entry fee (wtf!). An extra $270 is a bit of a shock.

Google 'customs electronic entry fee' and you will find heaps of stuff about it like this https://forums.overclockers.com.au/t...eshold.976214/
Off the top of my head, there is definitely no Duty on golf stuff, becuase no golf stuff is made here, ring border force and qualify with them, so you can get back to Fedex and give them a serve.

the $88 is the fee for the customs declaration. you can tell fedex to stick that up their bum, and you have to do your own, which costs $48 plus a bit of running about. I think that means you have to collect it from somewhere and show proof that the declaration has been lodged and paid.

When you pay for Door to Door shipping, that is supposed to include all charges except Tax, and Fedex should not ever be charging you anything more for their profit. I dont know if that applies to this $88 though
