    Not nice! and
Wrong! My contract was not renewed, however I secured another contract within the company that continued on from the last one. :P However, the area where my last contract was has borrowed me, which is why I am in Canberra.

Currently I am acting LSO (Local Area Network Support Officer) for Centrelink Call Centre in Toowoomba. Prior to that I was one of the trained monkeys in sector 7G...I mean on the phone for the call centre working in the Employment and Disability areas. Yes this means that I got abused by Dole bludgers all day OK :P actually it's not that bad and it is good money but it is great to get of the phone after 3 years averaging 35 calls a day....1000 days.....that means I've answered approx 35000 phone calls in that time

Some people hate it with a passion, I actually find it to be great fun...I also read golf books and took calls hidden in a corner for 2 years which helped. Did what I was told and therefore never got hassled!
It was fantastic...come and go as my schedule dictated Fridays off for Golf days......all for nearly 50k per year!!! :P
