    Default 2011 NQ Matchplay

    NQ Matchplay Rules

    - The draw will be performed immediately after the 2010 Matchplay Final on 06/11/10 at Sea Temple. Names will be drawn out of a hat by the 2010 Winner and positioned on the draw (below) in the order they are drawn. These positions are final. If anyone doesn't like it they will be forfeited and possibly banned.

    - Comp is knockout. Once you lose, you're out. There must be a result before the next round can commence, so I recommend against leaving matches until right before the deadline. Rematches are encouraged if time allows, but not compulsory. Entrants may agree to make other arrangements at their own discretion, as long as I am advised of the outcome. If anyone doesn't like it they will be forfeited and possibly banned.

    - Completion dates for each round are firm but may be relaxed (at my discretion) as long as effort is being made to get match played (ie. rematches due to draws). Otherwise I will forfeit both and possibly ban both.

    - A new 1st Tee thread needs to be started for each match. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture and potential banning.

    - More will be added (if necessary) as I think of it.

1st amendment: Just in case you didn't get the hint, whingers will be forfeited and possibly banned (not necessarily in that order).

2nd amendment: Current handicaps as per Golflink must be used. Handicap fixing (or suspicion of handicap fixing) will result in being forfeited and possibly banned.

Some of these tennis chicks are awesome.....

And the mayor announced from Thursday on should not be shat into the creek anymore, because on Saturday beer is brewed.

    Maybe I did miss something.

Got on the plane Sunday and opened the back page of the Sunday Mail. Sea Temple in full colour!

I hope you all cut that out for your scrapbooks.

So I would imagine with the front that just hit M and C, M will be a no-show for the weekend? Royal G'vale had the outside 9 shut today with no carts at all and I can't imagine we'll be any better tomorrow; if any golf at all! So, no golf anywhere this weekend? Thoughts?

    M didn't get much R today. M only needs a few days without R and it'll be F. No idea about C. Ask H or C. B or T might even know.

C is Fd, I'd think we'll still go to M. However I'm not keen on playing MP in a bog and I'd assume J will feel the same.

Mareeba has had a fair bit of water as well as some trees down this afternoon from a storm.

Forecast is for further storms and wind, carts are out indefinitely and at this stage there is a high chance of no competitions on this weekend.

Greens Director is ringing me tonight and I'll be talking with the President again tomorrow.

Julie Julie Julie. Golf is much healthier and more enjoyable when walking.

Get rid of that orange thing and buy a carry bag.

So, 13th Feb, for those in the know, will Cairns be up and running or will we all be trekking up the hill? Royal G'vale is out for a variety of reasons. (Even I won't play here). Or are we just going to have to scratch this date altogether? Courty?

Sheldon, I used to run Mareeba golf club so I feel your pain. When I got out I didn't want to go near the joint.

Be prepared for a thousand questions if we play next week.
