Big day in the west for Pikey.
If you’re with ladbrokes check out the special on him to place 4 of his rides, tasty $4.5

Jamie Kah just ran second at the valley on a horse called spooning.

I'm going to back her in the last

Don't reckon she does much spooning - is she riding one called Spit Roast?

    Depends how you bet.

I'm a sub $50 player on the horses, so a combo of Betfair, Sportsbet and the TAB works well for me particularly on Saturdays. The TAB offers bonus bets (similar to Sportsbet) in Syd/Melb if you run in the first 4. If I'm gonna have something outside of Syd/Melb, I go to Sportsbet if they are offering Brisbane otherwise its Betfair for the rest. With the TAB you always secure a few offers during the week like guaranteed $25 bonus bets, my mate gets "matched" offers on deposits, I haven't put money in my account for 5 years so I don ;t get that offer.

BITS started up our Punters Club accounts with Ladbrokes as we got a good "matched" offer to join, I'm not so enamoured with their ongoing offers, but I value bonus bets way higher than pricing.

If you bet golf there is only one answer......Betfair.

Be interested if other are having good outcomes with Neds etc.

Why is Betfair particularly good for golf PG?

I think the corporates use golf to ramp up their % take and the TAB has always been appalling.

Betfair works differently, just seems if you are backing anyone over 10s you get significantly better pricing, backing someone in the majors at 50/1 plus, you often get double the price. Once you get used to using it, you can also sit on offers and bids and scrape a bit better price.

The other advantage is that its easy to lay off, that is, get out of your bet.

Also like PG said if you like to dabble in some “lay betting” it’s the way to go.
Had some nice collects when laying horses that I’ve known the owners and they where just having a “run” etc…

Betfair, they ask if you have one in the sign up process. So I assume they still use them?

JC, not quite as good as it looks on the surface, winning bets get get charged 5%, but given the price overs especially in golf, this is reasonable.
