I have Quiros top 10 at hefty odds (his long game is suited but his temperement could be his downfall)
And i took Ogilvy top Aussie.
All good so far....

Got to love all of the 'other' odds in Race 5 at Randwick today!

Andy reason for that is it doesnt pay to sack a horse from one bad run, generally they are racing in the same grade so if they were short odds previously and now $15 and you can find a reason or 2 for why theu didnt run to expectation you are now getting value.

I have my own stable of horses that I will follow, usually giving each of them at least 3 starts before I either sack them or stick with them.

How many chances do you give a horse in your stable before you send it to the glue factory?

I didn't get time to post my bets, but here they were:
AFL Melbourne (over Brisbane) (1-39) $2.25
AFL Port over Geelong with 48.5 start $1.70

The theory being that wet weather means lower winning margins. Port are clearly very bad.

It's easy to sit on the fence and criticise AP, have a crack yourself and see how easy it is.
My picks are put up for some fun plain and simple. I won't be throwing in my job to live off the punt anytime soon

Great News!
Just got off the phone with the m-i-l who went and watched the trial.
She trialled phenomanally!
Ran 2nd to Houston Benefactor http://materials.risa.com.au/Publish...ton+Benefactor who apparently had to trial for the Golden Slipper prep.
Flew the barriers and railed chased well and eased up on the line.
Shane Moses (Kevins son) rode her and was more than happy!
Looking for a soft Maiden soon!

My filly stepped out for her 2nd trial this morning at Randwick.
Shane Moses rode her again, she went extremely well and ran 2nd.
She flew the barriers, he pulled her up and settled her then intructions where to get back and run home strongly and she did.
Looking at a soft Maiden maybe sat at Kembla or early next week at a Provincial, all things going well after she pulls up.
Cant wait to see the replay tonight!

Now i dont usually bet with NSW TAB as they are a pack of thieves, but they where giving Broncos -4.5 $2.05 v Knights +4.5 $1.85 ??????

Super 15 this weeked, Force over Brumbies is juicy odds, and as much as I hate to say it the Tahs are at good odds.

In the league, Broncos and Sharks are getting good odds. Rabbits are too, but can they beat the dragons?
