A fantastic day of racing at Caulfield today, here are a few that will be decent value
Race 5 no 2 Descarado $16.00 (each way)
Race 6 no 1 King Mufhasa $15.00 (each way)
    Race 7 no 1 Manawanui $6.00
Also sit back and enjoy watching Black Caviar brain them again.

G69 I haven't completed form or ratings for the race yet, but one thing I did notice is that saptapadi was a 4-5kg better horse in the UK, now obviously this horse has improved since coming to Australia but I think it is short and just happens to be racing against donkeys, we have a very weak bunch running around this year. I guess what I am saying is I do agree that he is a very short and vulnerable favorite.

Is the fave beatable..I think it is....just not sure what will beat it.

I am warming to Oli's mount, Manighar around the $18 mark..will be getting home like a train.
Rich, I think Precedence will be a nice each way value bet @ $41.00, should be nice and fit and you know Cummings will have him primed.

I got the oil from someone inside Gai's camp (no homo) her runner Tullamore is a sneaky each way chance.

I agree Rich, I think the imports have the wood over the locals again this year. The hard part will be picking the right one.

Just finished watching the replay now Rich, the win of Dunaden was very impressive and the $10.00 on offer is very tempting.
I also liked the run of Bauer charging home late. You can get $21.00 for him right now so I will be having a piece of that action.

OK peeps, what do you like in the Cox Plate?
I will be on King's Rose @ $12.00. I think she is great value in this, drawn well and loves the distance and track.
With Helmet & maybe Lion Tamer providing the pace, she should be able to find a nice spot maybe 5th 6th hopefully of the rails.
It's one of the weakest Cox Plates I have seen in quite some time.

Bummer, didn't realise Bauer was so far down the list.
The Caviar decision is a joke IMOP, if you are that concerned about the safety then don't run the bloody horse.
Here is the story if anyone is interested http://www.racenet.com.au/news/743/74321.asp

You think half, I'd say if he does brain them you will still get around the 5 -5.5 on race day
Got to be a great chance though, killed them last year
