Trainer Matt Dale has a couple in at Canberra today I like (with some reservations)RC4: Banger - went to Melbourne (he's not the type to take them if they can't win) and then back to Sydney where it won over 1600m, we are back to 1300m today and would not back it on any track downgrade. Zelago (last start winner ridden by Rachel King who isn't there today) will probably roll in front and Banger should get a late shot at it. Blaike McDougall is a positive.RC7: Port Douglas - Nick Heywood keeps the ride after it broke its maiden last start at Wagga over the mile. Mile again today should suit, its no world beater but seems to have found some nice form, may start favouriteI won't be going hard, small all up and win stand them in a trifecta.

Would have gone close in the William Reid tonight at the valley. I’m on Hey Doc tonight. Should stork the speed and hopefully can repeat what he did in the Manikato. Will be interested what he looks like in the yard though. I want to see him a lot fitter than what he was first up. I think Indian Pacific is over the odds as well.
