Got a late tip for the last (#9 Sea Lord) and was not sure of the sources value to tell others as he was at the cup and drunk as. Put 10 each way on it for a $158 payout for a place, if only it got up.

Not a tip but a question for all you punters. On the weekend a mate from work placed a bet with a bookie. The horse was paying $2.50. There was a scratching and the deduction made it $1.90. The horse dead heated for 1st. The bookie then payed 0.95c. So therefore his horse didn't lose but he lost money on the race. Is this correct.
