Sorry Toxic, was out securing prime position at The Steyne for the race, hope you didn't back him. We were confident if the track was a soft 6/7 but with rain overnight, by the time the last race started we were on a hvy 9, hopes had faded significantly.

Put in a decent run for 6th and will now have a spell, hopefully it stops raining at some point.

Nothing jumping off the page for me, lots of horses resuming, some coming off running on heavy tracks, can't see it being overly easy, not that it ever is.

When I'm in doubt, i go to the blokes who do it for a living, except the types who back every favourite. Mick Wallace normally gives a couple at a decent price, he has some tips up for Gilgandra and Randwick

If you are up on the day, my trainer Matt Dale has taken one from Canberra to Melbourne. In Race 8: Mossman Gorge, few scratchings have reduced the price but you should get 12-15s, goes well fresh.
