Default Mt Broughton, Sunday 12 December, 9am

I mentioned this in another thread a few weeks ago - now that Terry and I have agreed on a day, here's the thread to see if we can get a record number of people at a NSW Ozgolf day.

First group will hit off at 9am. $35 (member's guest rate) and $50 with shared cart.

Check with those who matter most to you to see if you're able to make it, and add your name to the list.

on the corner? there are three there and they are too tall for most players to hit over.

Bumping this - still 4 weeks off, but I know there are still a few of the Sydneysiders who haven't yet replied.

I'm out. We have the golf clubs presentation night on the 11th and I doubt I will be in any fit state to drive early in the morning.

I could still make this but it would need some support from a fellow ozgolfer.
As I am finishing work at 6am that morning I would require a lift, it would be down right stupid to drive myself down there on no sleep. Anyone?

I can drive you too Grant. I'm at Glenmore Park. Don't know if it's easier for Andrew for me to get you, depending on how far out of his way you are.

We've got three groups booked and 4 carts. Will that cover it for the carts v walking secnario?

I can easily get another group as well if there are more interested.

Will be good for Andrew thanks Matty. I think it is about 500m out of his way and he only lives a little over a km away.

I'll be lucky at the moment to make it even with a cart, so I'll definitely using a cart.

Should others who want a cart list their names?

I am a maybe for a cart, walking would make staying awake a little easier after a 12 hour night-shift just prior to play but resting too would be good. Will decide closer to the event. A maybe at this stage.

    I'll walk.

It will be my first game in 7 weeks when we play. I had an instructor recommended to me and he's been a revelation. I've been to three others over the two years of playing but it's good to find someone you click with.

I have drastically changed my swing and almost pulled the pin on the game but after yesterday's session at the range the grip and swing is starting to feel like it's my arms, not someone else's!

I can't believe how #$%*ed up my swing was. Very closed stance, clubface totally shut at top, grip ridiculously strong, heaps of manipulation with the hands. CRAZY

Looking forward to the course. Looks great.

Is it too late for me to join in? If it is, put me down as a reserve.

It's not common that Ozgolfers come my way so I'm pretty keen.

A guy called Peter Van Wegen. He has a lot to do with the juniors in the Jack Newton comps. Say he doesn't coach people much anymore cause he's busy with the kids and organising the comps etc but I was lucky to get in on the referral.

Terry will be able to get a 4th group booked, Jono. You're in. How's the fractured rib coming along?

Good mate. It doesn't hurt to cough any more.

I tried swinging the club in the backyard gently and seemed OK. Chipping and pitching is fine. I'm going to try hitting some full shots later in the week.

If we are going head to head (which we will be) its walking all the way baby...sleep or no sleep.
