Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

Beaten by a stripper one week, then by kicking a tennis ball around a gym the next. Where will it end??

Can't play unfortunately, one because I have no shafts in my irons (still can't find time to get to Cairns), and two because we have moved and the wife is throwing a garage sale on Saturday which I have to go to

Anyway, the course is playing pretty well and you should enjoy. We missed out on the forecast rain last night, so plenty of ball roll on greens and fairways.
And the mayor announced from Thursday on should not be shat into the creek anymore, because on Saturday beer is brewed.

I suspect the former applies to the latter as well.

Do you realise how many spare sets there are floating around down here? You could have your choice of probably half a dozen iron sets.

Can't help you with the garage sale but, if you can get out of that I can lend you my MP67's if you like; I have a set of Adams in play at the moment...

Seriously, indoor soccer. What a senseless sport is soccer.

About as senseless as the NBL.

You obviously don't know the full story. There was a massive lineup of people begging to be involved in that game. I am truly jealous.

OK. Thanks. Not a deal breaker if he's not, I'm just in a hurry to get out to 12.

Good luck boys, may the best man win. I think Tomson will win unless NK putts very well with his sand wedge.

In the real final: molarman v maysey.

Maysey takes an early lead to go 1 up.
