    That drive Virge hit must have;

    a. hit at least one sprinkler head
    b. been hit from the red markers
    c. been downwind while everyone else played it into a gale
    d. been the result of a doping scandal
    e. all of the above
    Forum needs more banter.

    Tomson is noticeably absent from the scoreboard?

    Xray's score was also for less than the full 36 holes (how many did he actually manage to play on day1?).

    You have got to admit Bob's 5 points for a full 18 holes is something special that should be preserved in OzGolf folk law

    Much as I hate to be fair to the bobsticle. He didn't play the full 18 either. But he was still at the presentation and therefore a worthy winner.

    We need not let minor details interfere in the result

    It wasn't that far. A couple in my group were past it, but missed the fairway.... Kudos to virge for hitting it long and STRAIGHT though.

    It was about 1m in front of Shazza's. No one in our group got anywhere near the fairway.

    When our group got to that tee it was blowing 50 knots straight into us, so we were in awe of Virge's power

    he is awesome, it's true. He also hits the ball just above worm-burner hight, so it's no wonder he still got it out there despite the headwind.

    Not taking anything away from Nudgee, but I thought I won day 2? Was there a re-count back?

    If you start out depressed everything’s kind of a pleasant surprise.

    I didn't think it was that long . . . I had a good wind to hit into but managed to hit the low ropy up the right side.

    Got the John Daly book out of it as well...
