I have no issues with it. Buffering occurs occasionally. I only use it during Super Rugby and then switch it off unless something I want to watch is coming up.

Not like Ozgolfers haven't been on this trade for years however looks like its almost end of times. Get in for a discount before then.

Rang them today about something unrelated. Figured I might as well ask the question and said that I couldn’t be bothered playing games and pretending that I’ll quit, but I’ve been a long term customer so I’d ask. They dropped me from $155 to $109.
That’ll do pig. I use it more than enough and we watch a wide range of channels and use Foxtel Go. I reckon it’s decent enough value.
Forum needs more banter.
I tried at the end of September, after my package went back to standard pricing.
No deal, ended up disconnecting.

Went to cancellations, and no deal.
An update. I did what I said I would do, but I also bought an Android TV, so Kayo actually runs straight off the TV.
To stay slightly on topic, when I cancelled my Foxtel through Telstra, along with all the other Telstra services, the person did not even attempt to direct me to a cheaper product.
From my point of view, the good of Kayo (mainly the price) outweighs the bad, but its not the perfect solution I was hoping for.
The controls through the TV remote control are very difficult to navigate, and I've found channel surfing to be so difficult I don't bother. The TV has a Google Assistant function, so maybe I'm supposed to say "please start the broadcast from 72 minutes" but I can't start the replay from any point except the start, and I can't fast forward using the TV remote. This is particularly relevant during Euro Golf broadcasts, where the total replay goes for 6 hours.
However, the picture quality is really good, you don't need to remember to record things, and you actually get some exclusive content. The Womens Big Bash had some games that weren't on TV, using the Cricket Australia feed (with the absolute worst commentary I've ever heard).
I'll be sticking with it.

I didn't, but I have done so now. It doesn't help much. All you get is the option for 2x speed and slowmo, similar to the way the app works on other devices, but you don't get to choose where to start viewing from, or the ability to skip forward.
As an aside to that function, when I was watching on my tablet, with its touch screen, every time I tried to skip the ads on the baseball replay, my fat fingers skipped straight from one ad break to the next ad break, which wasn't quite my intention.

Who’s totally ditched it?
Is kayo good?
Cool

Do you go thru Telstra?
After 20 odd years dumped them - hit me back with a deal but still not good enough i had made up my mind to flick them
i just do the Golf TV app and cast but will "borrow" a Kayo log in for the F1 and Supercars, miles in front !!!!

Cool.
I've never had Foxtel, just Kayo. I'm on a $200 for 12 month deal.
I will go back to Foxtel, I find Kayo clunky, I can't flick easily between channels and it does not have Sky Racing. I value those things, if you don't Kayo is fine.
As with Perry, my dislike is the inability to flick between channels, price wise though Kayo plus the streaming services the family has is cheaper the the full Foxtel package.
You could set up some channel flicking by doing the split window thing.
I’ve never tried while watching on a computer but it takes about 2 seconds to find the list of live channels on phone, iPad or when Chromecasting.
Foxtel is trash. I have Kayo, Netflix and Disney+ for about 1/3 of what foxtel used to cost. Can do split screen or use 2 devices if you want to watch multiple channels (ie TV & iPad) simultaneously.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!
you guys need kids with a job
I got Foxtel, Disney, Netflix, Prime, Stan, some other thing and pay for none.
my kid pays for Disney and she shares it with her other friends who share the other ones back, and dad benefits. apparently all the kiddies do it ( suggest not giving your kids your password)
mind you, i think i have only watched foxtel once, the rest seems to have nothing on just like the normal telly. I just end up watching youtube
