Hamilton Island - (Dent Island) anyday from the 14th - 19th of October

I'm going to be on Hamilton Island with the family from the 13th - 20th of October.

I've ruled out the start and end date for obvious reasons, so if anyone by chance is there at the same time, would be great to have a hit.

I'm only taking shoes, balls, glove, tee's, etc. Leaving my bats at home and will be hiring a set, I understand that they are new Callaways.

Enjoy Chappy - seen pics of the course and it looks interesting - went past Dent Island a couple of days ago on the way to Whitsunday Island and could see bugger all of the course from the boat - it must be well hidden !

I'd love to get down there for a game, but your timing is impeccable. The weekend leading in is the OZgolf Champs in SEQ, and even when I get back it would be an 8 hour drive each way from Cairns!

Enjoy Chappy - went there twice in my stay at Hamilton Island in October last year - best advice I could give would be get an early tee time (pretty humid) and take plenty of balls.

Fantastic day - I would also recommend if you do get an early tee time to get the family to come over and have lunch after the round in the clubhouse. The views are spectacular, and I asked the guy in the pro shop if we could take a couple of carts out so I could show my wife the views on the course (back 9 is unbelievabe), so the 4 of us (in 2 carts) went out after lunch.

Last bit of advice - take a camera and take your time.
