WA golf clubs...need a new one.
OK guys,
I have so much to say but am a little unsure how to put it.
Most of you are aware of our huge pennant following, if you add to that the amount of bitching from members about missing out on 3 games of golf on a Sunday because we hosted a pennent match. I am well over listening to 60 year old blokes complaining that thy can't get a game on Saturday.
At the moment we have greens with 4 different paces, i will admit they were cored a couple of weeks ago but they came back well and then the curator decided to cut them long for a while, that was on 3, 6 and 15?
I am also tired of having to jump online every Monday morning to try and catch a Saturday game.
Most of you know where i live, so, give me a heads up on where within 20 minutes, would be a better place to be?

Gosnells? Nope.
Hartfield? Definitely not!
Are you sure you can't get to Kennedy quicker than 40 mins?
Kwinana? Rocko?

Go to Kwinana.

After having a talk with Ads on Sunday I am seriously considering Kwinana, KB would still be relatively close but I'm sure there is a reason for you guys not being there anymore?

Yeah RF noms are a joke. Kwinanna then if travel is an issue, that is if Gosnells is a bad as people say it is. Otherwise KB.

We would both be at Kennedy if we lived closer.

KB is the course of choice. Fairly bad "club", but oh well. With rumoured changes to 11 and 12 I am curious to see what happens to the course with the development.
I was within 20-30 mins if KB I'd re-join. I really do miss the course.

What JC and adlo said, it is just a little bit far for me as well. If you are further south and closer to the freeway?
Kwinanna is a fun track though.

Kwinana is the best value choice down that way. Gosnells has way more problems than Melville Glades.

Are there any Ozgolfers who are members at Kwinana?

Kwinana deserves a lot more recognition than people give it credit for.
Its not just a good course to play but has some good low handicap players representing it.
Hocko would integrate well into their pennants contingent.
Is KB still a "category D" club with no penant team in metros? If so, that's a shame.

Kwinana would be my pic if in your posi Hocko.......If I was to join anywhere it would also be Kwinana FWIW, sick of those old Hartfield farts and their continuous ranting & raving, bloody contagious too with JC as the latest victim......
K's nice and close to home too which is a big plus......
I've never found the conditioning to be anything other than excellent out there everytime I've been out to K which is more often nowadays.

RF noms & fees are just stupid IMO and not such a flash track from most reports.

Not sure where you live but how about (Royal) Mosman Park - fun little nine holer that isn't that easy, and the members are a good crew - about $2K for year 1, $1.7 a year after that .... of course I'd be biased about how good it is ....

I guess if RF's fees are too high...that'll rule out Mt Lawley!

Most of the guys on the forum have commented on condition too GN, when the Hartfield boys played pennants there they had nothing but good things to say.
BTW, did JC tell you he won there?

Forgot about Mozzy Park....had a look there before i joined Seaview a couple of years ago.
I did like the layout but would prefer to play 18 different holes rather than a good nine twice.
