Default New Buggy Time. Clicgear or Smoothy?

Whats the go? Clicgear looks the part but im thinking something like the Smoothy Lightning with suspension will be the easier to soak up the bumps. Obviously the smoothy has the price edge too being locally sourced for under $200. How good are the Clicgear buggies?

Smoothy have just brought out one like the Clicgear but it's not on their website for some stupid reason.

Note: haven't checked the website today.

The new smoothy that looks like the clicgear or the clicgear would be the go then! The lightning is ok but I don't think it folds up anywhere near as well or small.

Both roll really well IMO, the clicgears wheels are really good.

Smoothy Classic takes heaps of boot!!!

Some of the other Smoothy's get pretty compact.

Do u notice the lack of suspension in the Cliccy compared to the smoothys with suspension?

I honestly haven't rolled the clicgear enough to make a decent comment on that, I don't think it makes a huge difference. But the new smoothy clicgear would be the best of both worlds

yeah I have used my mates Smoothy with suspension and it absolutely glides! Makes my pull pilgrim buggy feel like a shopping cart full of rocks..

If I can spare the boot space the Smoothy might get the nod especially due to price as well.. Not sure where I could source a Clic Gear for under $300ish either

theyre both the best buggies available i reckon.
i think it comes down to the fact of room in your car.
the clicgear goes great, but yeah not as smooth as the smoothy but still goes well without the suspension.
if room in the car is no problem i'd go the smoothy.

Ok might go to GC Outlet tomoz and see what the deal is, maybe they will have the new Smoothy Clicgear style ones too.

Space is an issue atm but planning on upgrading the car to a 4door so might just get whats readily available

    Best for pushing = Smoothy
    Best for space-saving = Clicgear

They are both goof buggies, so choose what suits you most.

Priceless Dcanto, I love it when i see golfers trying to get their kids involved.
Hard enough to get time off to play golf, but when you take the kids off mums hands also........you could play golf 7 days a week.

Oh, looks like your boy is having a great time too.

Dcanto - does the 3 year old ask "why you hit it in the trees again" like my mate's son did?

Thanks hocko - All part of the brainwashing... I mean encouraging his interest in golf. Hopefully he will still want to have a hit with his old man when he is old enough to drive a car and drink beer.

Not quite - but the statement "Daddy, you missed the hole again" has been made more than once when we are putting.

Every time I go to golf my daughter tells me to get a hole in one. Every time I come home she asks if I got one. Every time the answer in the same. And every time she is so disappointed in me. .

Talk about high expectations. I wonder if my daughter will expect similar when she is that old?

i got the brosnan wallabuggy from squizzy's golf.

love it. cant say a bad thing about it, easy assembly, suspension works well. Top of the hill just let it fly whilst you casually walk down after it with a vb in your hand.

how much for this one hyrola?

Semi-ordered a Smoothy Lightning from GCO. Be here in 2 days, price and suspension was the deciding factor

+1, I have the same model and they are really good. Only issue is boot space but that's only a minor issue
