QOTSA, Slayer, Primus, Rob Zombie... all pretty good supporting acts as well. I expect the tickets to be a squillion dollars.

Yea, but no normal gig in Brissy. Bugga em. Should be able to get a ticket closer to it if I can get there. I drove to Sydney to see em on the Fear of the Dark tour. Bit too old for that these days!

the SoundWave ticket info is out tomorrow. At this stage I'm going to do the Melbourne/Sydney maiden gigs and then Brisbane/ Perth for the Soundwave gigs, subject to having enough FF points

Financial restrictions stop me from that. A mate of mine runs a shop that sells the soundwave tickets. I'll see if I can find out how much they are.

    Will do, thanks Bruce.

You keep living in the 80's.

Protip: most of the lineup is from the 90's and later.

A few of us at work are thinking of going.

Should be good, as long as the main acts aren't performing at the same time ~!!

Tickets for Brisbane Soundwaves are $159.15 in the presale. There is probably a booking fee on top of that. For the lineup I reckon that is awesome value.

Bruce I can't afford Sydney at the moment. If things look up between now and then and I can wrangle something i will go.

In light of my recent run of shitty luck I'm throwing caution to the wind and going to this thing. You only live once and I don't want to regret not forking out the dosh like I do the last time RATM toured.

Call it a 30th b'day present to myself.

Brisbane Soundwave. Will try and make the Sydney gig but unless cash changes it's a no go.

Good line up..hopefully it will be at a descent venue.
Went and saw Peral Jam at ME Bank stadium and they had to finish at 930 because of the whinging locals.

The band will be arriving at Brisbane Airport sometime tomorrow (sorry, don't know the exact time) in their private 757.

I'll try and sneak over there again and take some up close pics (again)
