Well done, congrats. Eclipsed the first year myself a few weeks back. I bought the missus a Mont Blanc pen on the flight back from Singapore - it's not exactly 'paper', but she gets to mark paper from here until eternity with it.
And who said Singa's was cheap?? Apparently their sales start next month, but to go there any other time, it's more expensive - even when you factor in the exchange rate!! Ended up buying the pen at the QANTAS Sky-shop - it was the cheapest deal!

I'm in my 14th year, although you tend to lose track.
I thought the 1st anniversary gift was 'Putter'.
Of course, it also could be a Wood, but I don't want to get into that.

We forsaw the "forgetting" problem - so we picked a date easily remembered - first date 23/6, married - 23/2.
Brad never forgets - but I don't think he's ever bought me anything other than a card.

oooh fancy schmancy...tis not the pen but the insert y'know
I actually said this year after buying lyndal a lovely claw set .4 carat diamond pendant and excellent chain that i expect something golf related for my bday now.
I saved up the pocketmoney she had been giving me whilst unemployed and splurged big time so i want a r580xd tour or something or that $-intensive calibre

we linked our to our 27th August 1995 date.
The wedding was on April 27th 2004, so 8 year and 8 months together, makes it easy to remember both...we're lazy like that and i am shabby with dates.
we use the monthly ones occassionally as an excuse to eat out using the entertainment book, only way we can afford to normally...since i prefer to do my gourmet cooking thang anyways she lways gets a high quality meal!
(is is may yet?)
