Pulled shafts - do people buy them?
I paid a visit to a local clubmaker yesterday to see about shafts and get him to look at my current set. Really nice bloke, and instantly sold me on going down that route over the current big chain retailers.
Anyway, we got to talking about shafts, and I pointed out a rack of old shaft pulls he had and asked what he had for sale there. He told me that nobody wanted to buy used shafts and he usually ends up just chucking them away after a while.
I instantly thought of OzGolf - I should send him a link and tell him there's a whole community of nutters who would be happy to buy his old shafts at a decent price. Do people actually buy this stuff if it is on the pro shop around here?

That's what I thought. I could have mis-heard him, but I'm sure that's what he said.
I didn't get to see if he had a tomato patch in his back yard though - maybe he does get some use out of them.

Ofcourse people buy them, why do you think we all hover around the Ozgolf pro shop?
That's why people join....to become ho's.

Tell him that you'll sell them here for $20 per shaft. It's $20 more than he wanted, plus, we get a great deal. PM me the list first before posting.

Was this Doug mate? He said a similar thing to me when I saw him a few years back...at that stage he had a LOT of cally shafts.
If he has a V2 stiff driver pull let me know!

Yeah, it was Doug. Thanks again for putting me onto him too.
He did have a couple of V2s there, I think he said they were pulled out of Nickent drivers if that makes any difference. I'll let you know.

If there are any Nickent shaft adapters lying around unwanted from the shafts that were pulled (i'm assuming they came from the CYG 4DX driver) I would be interested in them.
