My wife just watched it & was ROFL...

I'm going back to my 'normal' buggy. That remote was a pain in the ass, it couldn't keep up with me walking either! Incident on 1 was because the wheel had jumped out of its track into freewheel mode...so when I used the remote to go forward ONLY ONE WHEEL WAS DRIVING. It veered left and straight off the edge of the bunker and 3ft down. Have so much sand in my bag...the second was weird, I thought it had gone out of range and it just veered off and kept going. It was between 12 green and 13 tee. It went a fair way in before hitting a tangle of tree roots and tipping over. The seat and the grounded wheel was wedged in the treee roots and took a fair YANK to get it out. F***ing Thing! Then I tested the remote and presto, it moved. Hadn't been out of range at all. F***ing Thing!

Well done MW...that was a very solid finish mate. And I reckon we got it spot on on 10, those blokes MUST have played (stolen) your ball. From where your driver was there was NO way that the 3W wouldn't have been out there too, but just a bit shorter.

Yoss, I'm sorry about me laughing on 18, but you had three absolutely pure practice swings at that little chip...just sweeping the turf nicely. Then you hit it So Chunky (you could carve it!). Impact was at least three inches behind the ball and you nearly bounced the club completely over the ball. You were lucky to even get a piece of it.

Simmsy...didn't think I choked. I was pretty much behind all day (and with that F***ing Thing as well). Played totally crap. You were solid as usual again, old man.

Thanks for the day boys...BTW did you guys see the accident on the freeway going north? Rollover (pretty bad by the looks) just south of Leach Hwy.

    PS: Bogans SUCK!

Must have been driving their car by remote control!

Sounds like a good day out fellas with plenty of laughs and some good golf from Megaman to ice the match.

I jump off at Roe but had heard about the rollover on the freeway.

There was also a crash when you come out at Ennis ave from Port Kennedy Dr (?).

Some memorable moments from the match:

The start was crap for both of us. Yoss cold topped it and I hit some stupid cut skyball hybrid into the lake. Yoss took the hole with about a 6.

Yoss' putt on 2 from off the back that somehow didn't go in the bunker and ended up back on the green.

    My bunker shot on 3.

Yoss' stance in the bunker on 5 and Simmsy telling him how to play it. Thanks Simmsy!

Yoss' second putt on 7 after being on the adjoining green.

The burnout on 9, Yoss' and my recovery from the right hand bushes that was 'too good'.

The thing that my ball hit on 11 and ricocheted into the bush.

My three jack to square the 12th. I think it may have had something to do with my laughter still not quite being contained.

The 2 solid 3 footers on 13 for the square.

Yoss' stance (again) in the bunker on 14 and the conversation that he and the group we called through were having during my backswing.

Yoss' approach to 15 was superb from the crap left and forced me to take a 2 hybrid from a hole, quite possibly made by the native Burrowing Kangaroo. It was an epic fail and a lost ball/hole.

    My approach on 16.

My approach on 17 after Yoss got himself into some trouble right.

    18...

I really enjoy these Ozgolf days. I love the grind of matchplay. And of course the company and laughter were simply brilliant.

    Cheers guys.

yep thanks to all for the day. i feel truly blessed to be witness to two of the funniest days in WAnker Ozgolf folklore with JC & 'fits buggy fiasco's.

Yoss - get a putting lesson, that chinaman spin you keep putting on your putts is killing you.

I think I hit 1, maybe 2 shit putts, and by that I mean horrible strokes.

Other than that I was ok, pace was a little off but hey.

Sorry about chatting to that guy

Yoss - we've all told you mate, keep that putter head running along the ground! it is seriously above the equator of the ball on 90% of your putts.

i look down on you like my own child Yoss & i want you to succeed at putting. Hell i'll give you putting lessons if you want.

If you look at him as your child OMS I highly recommend beating the lesson into him

A big call out to Old Man MacGyver who happened to be carrying a spare CR2 battery to go into my range finder after it died on 9. I have become quite reliant on it and would have struggled without numbers!

I have a new one at home that I'll chuck in my bag to replace it mate. Just remind me to hand it over next time we play. Thanks heaps!

Just don't do a Zeus, borrow it, promise a return and then disappear into the sunset.

You think I would lend anything of value to a Puerto Rican?

You carry spares as well eh?

My 1600 that's on the way uses 9 volt. I guess I'll be carrying a stash now.

The case has a little holder for a battery, which is always full. Nothing worse than no rangefinder, as I am finding out right now.

I've got plenty of batteries. My rangefinder didn't agree with the pond at Araluen.

The paypal stuff could help. Did you buy it through the bay? Can you get a copy of that receipt?

I reckon you're a long shot JC. Once it's opened up and they find 50 odd guppies swimming around, they'll know something's a bit....fishy?

Interesting. Our internet security won't let me on the Leupold site as it is classified as "Weapons".

    Sons of bitches.

I want to see if it is "waterproof" or "weatherproof".
