huge contract dispute that is ripping the heart out of west indies cricket. same dispute that nearly canned the australian tour this year.
6 guys have been blacklisted for signing private sponsorship with C&W a rival company to Digicell the teams sponsor. the problem is only that they refused to disclose to the board the terms of the contract.
Lara had a contract with C&W before Digicell came along so he is not in trouble over that. He is only on the outer becuase he is standing by the other 6, and he did not reply to an offer made by the board.
the 6 include, Lara, Sarwan, Gayle, Fidel, cant remember the rest.
the latest story is that Sarwan and Gayle have terminted C&W contracts.
