USPS Priority and 3Balls
Anybody had experience with USPS Priority with 3balls? ordering a Cobra L5V wrench and don't wanna pay $30 shipping on Fedex for a $10 item.
If it means i have to wait about 2 weeks it's fine, anything longer though and i'll prob just go with Fedex.
I was gonna order something else and combine shipping but i don't need anything, i'm actually happy with all my gear

3Balls does USPS shipping???
Awesome, will have to keep that in mind, I'm sure its just for smaller stuff though, which kinda sucks, but anyway.
USPS Priority is usually 6-10 working days, but in my experience is usually 4-6 days working days. And I've ordered a LOT of stuff through USPS. I'm sure that you would not have any hassle with them what-so-ever and you should definitely have it in a fortnight from order date.

USPS Priority shipping has been pretty good for me. Generally less than a week.

See if you can get in on goonie's bulk order and ask if he's willing to ship it on to you...

Couldn't you take it to hardware house and ask them for a torque wrench or whatever it is ?

For suppliers who get preferred rates with Fed Ex and UPS its slightly cheaper. For everyone else its way cheaper.
The fact that 3 balls and some other larger vendors have started to uses USPS suggests to me that the economy over there is still really shizenhousen and/or that vendor margins are really getting crunched (remember that of lot of these guys do free shipping within the states) so they are trying to save money wherever and whenever they can.

Fair enough, I know the ball rate was only $5 diff for about 5 doz. What about the local option or a hardware store ?

I've asked around about a local hardware store $5 option but i can't find an answer, never seen a screw that looks like it either.
All good, used there buy 2 hats and get 1 free deal, won't need hats for a while.
