They may not have, but it is a big coincidence if they didn't.

I would suggest if are going to turn the mobile access back on you do one at a time for a few days and compare the load, FR may not cause the same issues that tapatalk did. Plus I would turn off push notifications is possible as it could cause extra server load.

If they are the cause, the problem may lie in the fact that we are on a shared server. On a dedicated server there may be no issues as any load only affects us. But the hosts have to consider the effect it has on their other clients that are on that server.
It seems just too much of a coincidence that we ask them to enable that stuff again, and then there is trouble again almost straight away. Wouldn't even surprise me if they were keeping their eyes on it for a while to see what happened and jumped on it when they didn't like what they saw.

FR was running for the best part of a day, did the issue start when TT was turned back on.

bought both apps now, only ever use them for this forum, maybe try Forum Runner on its own and see how you go?
