The plugin has been updated yet again to address some issues, such as the landscape view and crashes.

It's a pity that the iPhone 3G doesn't. Stupid phone.

It does when you jailbreak it.

I always thought jailbreaking it had the potential to render it a brick so I have never tried.

It does, but it's quite unlikely. I've jailbroken several phones on many different iterations of the OS, and only bricked it once. Even then, I just restored the software through iTunes and it was back to normal.

I'll have to replace my smashed iPod, so I can have a look.

We are overdue for an update on the forum side of Tapatalk too.

Not so sweet. Not another Sydney thing was it?

Call Apple. They'll organise a swap out/replacement. Not sure what they charge for smashed iPod Touch's.

They'll charge whatever it costs for a refurbished Touch, I believe. I'm trying to claim a replacement through work at the moment.

Apparently there are at least 19 of us using Tapatalk, all on an Apple iPhone or iPod Touch.

Is it heaps easier/better to view ozgolf with tapatalk?

Since my laptop died a horrible death the other week I do almost all my browsing of ozgolf, from home, on the iphone. I dont really have a problem with it in safari though so is it worth running tapatalk?

I think so, but I haven't used it for a while. I always found browsing a forum via Safari on such a small screen quite painful.

It may be a little painful Andy but still better than listening to a nagging wife, or crying kids

Just tried the RO version so not sure if I was missing something because of the stripped-down version or because I am a numpty, but there didn't seem to be a "view first unread" option or similar.

It's not yet a feature, but it is on the list of future improvements.

Still a little buggy, but they seem to be bringing out consistent updates.

Yep it's gone from average, to pretty good in a short time. Not too much longer I reckon it will be way better.

What are some of the known bugs, so I can keep an eye out for them?
