    Default The "Magic Pencil"

Hypothetically, if someone were to give their card the "magic pencil" treatment (read: change their scores) what penalty do you think the club's committee should impose?

    DQ?
    Letter?
    Suspension?
    All of the above?

    What are your thoughts?

Agree with Eags. First warning then show them the door.

Look if it is an adult who should know better, then yes I agree ban the prick.
What if we are talking about some 12-14 year old kid? That is a different story all together, you would warn them and hopefully they would learn their lesson and not re offend in the future.

Depends if they submit the card and then go home and post a thread about feeling guilty about it seeking opinions on whether they should admit to cheating or not.

Personally though, I reckon you should get one warning and be outed - usually then they would leave anyway

Would have to be a very young kid as the 14-16 year old should know better. I don't think rules should be different for a 14yo or a 88yo.

It would probably depend on what evidence you had. If you can prove it is a deliberate cheating act as opposed to a seemingly innocent mistake, long suspension for the first offence and then ban them if it happens again.

    Agree with Eags.

But after the first offence, make them wear a white shirt with black writing "Im a cheating prick" on the front and back for their next 3 rounds.

And no, you cant wear anything over the top.

That is hilarious. I saw Jack had responded. My tip was staked out over an anthill...I was close!

I think a suspension is in order. Second offence bye bye.

Has to be a case by case basis, every situation is different, including the how the accused responds.
