    Default My Lajosi putter (KL-AB2)

Ok, so this project is about a week 1/2 in the works and significant progress has been made. I designed this putter about a year ago and first had it handmade and was extremely pleased with that putter but since then I've really wanted my design to come to life again but this time I wanted it CNC'd. I've been a fan of Kari Lajosi's work for a while and after drooling over some threads of one-offs I decided to get a hold of Kari and get things rolling. After about a week of tweeking the original design I gave Kari the go ahead. Here's pics from start to present. Enjoy

Plumbers neck version of a fast back essentially I guess. I can see this being a stock style on Kari's list though
It looks great. The radial finish on the front is quite different as well.

So what finish and stamping are you getting done.
    Cheers

Interesting design, it seems to have elements of the TP Mills softtail (high toe) in a mallet with an anser face cavity and plumbers neck. Kari has a real knack in turning out putters that are beautifully balanced. Nice looking putter...thanks for showing it.

I like it! Is it face or heel balanced?, and could it be either?

More of a #9/channel islands mix..... Finish will be copper plated, shaft will be the black chrome, no stamps and far as the engravings they all will be naked.

Yes indeed, he basically nailed every change to the original design that I asked for.

It could be either depending on the neck options. My putter will have a toe hang of about 4:00.

Nice.....wouldn't want to scratch it though

Looks like the face has lost the pattern or is it the pic playing tricks.

I'm not sure I'm hoping it's just the light that the pic was taken in, Kari might be able to answer that question.

You can see the reflection of the milling pattern on the timber in the middle pic. However, any playing process will reduce the depth of the milling...it has to - its a covering over the original.

Wow, beautiful putter. Its crazy how the milling shows up in the shadow but not on the face in that photo above.
If you dont mind..what was the cost of getting your putter produced by lajosi?

It's most likely the light that the pic was taken in as you can see there is quite a bit of glare the putter's putting off in the sun.

    PM me on the cost.
