Default Three things you didn't know about me.

I thought it might be interesting to start a thread like this so feel free to contribute.

    1. I have played golf both right & left handed.
    2. I only have 60% hearing.... even though my wife calls it selective hearing
    3. I was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around my neck cutting off my airway.... may explain a few things

That does explain lots - confused, won't listen, and a choker.
Consciousness and awareness - awareness is being aware of what is happening and being aware of what is happening within ourselves while we are conscious. Where did I leave my glasses?

    1. I was a twin, but the other baby didn't survive birth.
    2. I was born 10 pounds 13 ounces (probably why my twin didn't survive)
    3. I skipped Grade 8

    1. Year 9 was the first year I spent 2 years in a row at the same school.
    2. I broke my left arm on an Outward Bound school camp in the Grampians about half an hour before I was meant to go abseiling for the first time. (The pain of not abseiling was greater than the pain of breaking the arm.)
    3. My brother and I were the first white kids to attend a Ranwadi High School in the New Hebrides when my parents taught there in the late 70s.

    1. I went to primary school with a longtime Ozgolf Member, pretty sure he does not remember. I played junior cricket in the same team as this person.
    2. His father was our coach for at least one season.
    3. I recognised him the first Ozgolf game I played back at Horton Park (2004?) but didn't say anything until now.

    Who is it??

Yes, 1981 1982, I remember coming third in the 800m in grade 7 behind you and Paul McEwan, can't remember who won but I think it was Paul?
I recall that there only 5 of us in the race.

Ahh now the memories are coming back
I won that race by the way and then went on to the inter school carnival and got smashed
I used to love living in Oakey, playing footy & cricket, I had some good times there as a kid.
That newspaper clip is from when we went up a division wasn't it?
I do remember getting our arses handed to us quite often in that grade

I actually know how old you are, and it's (just) younger than me. So yes, I didn't really think that through.
