I've been having a good time with the new SMT heads. The Babylon is my pick as the most forgiving. A 9* Babylon has kicked the Nemesis out of my bag. The sound is quite muted which takes a few shots to get used to. But the results are very straight and high yet penetrating trajectory drives.

Also made a 10* Spectrum with VS-339 shaft for my best man and he is absolutely killing it. The Spectrum has a really sweet feel.

I have not yet tried the O2.

    Terry,

Good to see you. I've never actually seen a Baltusrol in person. Was it around 300 cc?

    Amanda,

The Baltusrol was one of SMT's earliest drivers... they are no longer produced.

i had brisvegas's rifle graphite shaft lying around on my return and went to get the 455 reshafted...out of boredoms sake and tired of edging the lawn by hand with a kitchen knife.

they said this morning they couldt get the head off the shaft, took them all yesterday and they only started the reshaft and epoxy this morning, not ready till 4 this arvo...sigh.

looks like more housework for me today

I had high hopes for the babylon and set it up the same as my deep bore 455, but I couldn't get it to work. I will try it again one day, but at the moment the Deep Bore is still my fav SMT club. The Deep Bore was a fair bit longer than the Babylon and I just found the Babylon hard to work, prob due to the weight insert in the heel.
