Just a quick summary of where I am at:
-overall I 'think' I am hitting the ball pretty crap, but my last 3 rounds have been my best in nearly a year. The scores are a combination of a lot of things, but this is part of it. To begin with, I cant hit it left to save my life, the signature draw is just a distant memory now. Hit fairway woods and short irons very straight, Driver and long irons tend to fade/cut a lot. Martin has already explained why that happens and I am going to have to work on that a lot, and there are times when I think that I have really lost it.

- the 'Mickleson' drill is really helping with my short game, including bunkers and full wedges. It just works.

- and I have always struggled to hit low recovery shots, I would usually hit them way too high or cold top them. Applying these techniques make it easy, particularly coming out of the rough. I can swing at this confidentally now, which means I can also hit them a lot further, pulled off a rip snorter today.

Blakey - how are you going with the "containment" part of the process. I am moving towards this but struggle to get a complete turn.

It is really bloody good for distance control with pitching. I was bouncing balls off my hat 6 out of 10 times from 25m !!

You are a far ken genius, used the half moon today in my pitching and it was unreal. also committed to using it in my full swing and when it was on was awesome and when i was off it was okay as i good chip like PHIL thanks to you. As soon as i get some cash from a shaft sale i am going to buy your video and play your way forever as i think what you have shown is that good!!!

Petey, get the video and go to a Marty clinic. I think either on their own will not be enough, Its one thing to put into practice what you see on video but chances are you will be doing it wrong so you need Marty or a capable apprentice to guide.

Boys re- alignment

Are you a member of SITD? Have a look at the recent vid of Sevam (with Elk) hitting little pitch shots. Open stance, lower body turn towards target (intent). Will need to show you the alignment error piece at the range, I don't think there is a vid on that. Also don't try to manipulate the club face through impact, neutral grip, keep the impact position right the way through.
