I'd agree. I liked Torres in his first season but injured he was a liability and it was a no-brainer to sell for that coin to Chelski, a fit Carrol and Suarez is way better anyway

Yep, $50 mil would have been the easiest decision in the world to make. He's not worth half that now. Definitely don't think Carroll is worth $35 mil either but you needed someone. Suarez is your best signature in years bar none....

Golden. Laughed my arse off. There's only two teams I hate more than United, Spurs (because I have to) and friggin' Chelsea because they've bought every title they've won in the last 8 or 9 years. It sickens me that either Utd or Chelsea have won the league for the past 7 years.

Meireles looks like he could be handy too. You guys could and should do OK next year.

I totally understand the enmity towards 'spurs. A good mate from my time living in London lived right near Highbury. I heard a lot of stories about his hatred of the North Londan rivals. Totally agree on hatred of chelski (I lived in London in '05 & '06 enough said) and United. As a red's man I have too. Strange that I've never disliked the gooners to that extent. Must be something about them usually being a good team to watch (and Arsene does do a good whinge )
