    Default Wa champs - prizes/donations

Alright sandgropers our WA champs w'end is not too far away and as has been the case in previous comps ran by THE DON we always have very generous punters amongst us.
But to help things run smoothly and save some confusion for the w'end we want to get the list of prizes together well before the w'end.
So if you can put forward here or PM what you are able to donate that would be much appreciated. Whether it's a sleeve of Pinnacles or a Fascinating bottle of wine, it doesn't matter, it will all go into to THE DON'S lair and he will divvy up the allocation of prizes before the w'end comes around.
Bear in mind their will also be cash prizes for NTP/LD over the w'end and the Matchplay comp on the Friday will run seperate to the WA champs.

I'll check - do we need anymore donations?

I don't think so, it's a pretty good prize pool, especially with what TourFit and MegaWatty have donated to us.

    So i've re-jigged the NTP split -
GolfNut we need your $5 donation please!!

We have $355 in the pot -

    KB - 4 x $15 = $60
    B'up - #2 - $10 #6 - $10 #9 - $35 = $55

    Duns Lakes - 4 x $30 = $120
    Capel - 4 x $30 = $120

    Total = $355

Ok - No more Donations/Prizes/Cash into the main pool.

$1 skins all weekend and B'up.
    $5 in for most regs on 3's & 5's at B'up
    and heaps more i'm sure.

Obviously skins are optional. I know most will play skins, but those who wish to opt out let us know.

Also, while I think of it, accommodation will be $55, simmsy we have 12 full weekend golfers.

Yep true on all counts, yeah hadn't realized we had 12 until last night.

So $55 for 2 nights accom. pretty good deal.

We still need someone to put their hand up to bring another esky for beers.

I don't have one but I do have a big styrofoam box that can hold drinks, it is designed for food and drinks. Not the best for transporting beer, but if we just want to fill it with ice and leave it at the house, it will do fine.

    Accom $55
    Prizes $25
    Green fees $110

Skins, at your discretion. Most of us will play $1 skins all Saturday and Sunday and possibly a bit richer at Binningup. That is by choice. Not compulsory to join.

So skins within a group or are you talking one of those multi group complex arrangements? I know dudes at my club that have side bets running with about 20 other blokes on a weekend.. how they do the accounting i'd be stuffed

Skins within the 4ball. JC and his mate Tiger will probably play blind skins as well. The rest of us will throw that in the too hard basket.

    Bergsey,
From what i can figure you will need -

    $55 for a bed
$25 for the buy in on the game for the weekend
    $110 approx green fees
$20 to player poker if you wish
Various skins and other novelties as you may or may not decided to play in.

Also - TourFit was speaking of cooking us all up dinner on the Friday night, if we all put in $10 to grab food from the shops, oh and sh!t paper, lots of sh!t paper!

I hope that's most of it, if anyone sees something im missing point it out.

Go for the extra $25 to get the Binningup pins up there. I told the boys they owed $50 and gave them the breakdown earlier.

JC - don't worry about it mate. I'm sure you will still win heaps this w'end.

We have plenty of cash up for grabs, some guys don't have as much cash to throw around as you do. Speaking of which, do you want to throw in $50 for most improved from last years champs??

    Who's taking what cars...

...the reason I ask is that I can bring a large esky that'll do everyone. Will fit the bill PERFECTLY & can sit on verandah or on kitchen floor and be filled with ice. Only prob is that I'm heading back on Sat night and someone would need to take it from the house to Capel??

I know it won't fit in Bergsey's Rex, or Simmsy's Forester (or will it??). JC, what car you got for the weekend, and are you taking Yoss & Adlo? If you are then I'm sure you will be out. That leaves Nuffie as well as Tiger & Paul...

JC, can you find out what they're going down in and let me know?

iTree, what kinda car does Nuffster have (room on back seat for large cooler??)

Also, Daz_Golfer will need a lift to Capel Sunday morning (probably Nuffie, seeing as he'll be the only single occupant).

I'm taking 3. It can sit on Yoss in the backseat.

Paul's car isn't that big, but I'll give him a ring and see if it can fit an esky.

I'm sure we can fit all the stuff for the drive to Capel, as long as we sort it for the longer drive home.
