Hard to say Jarro, if you look at Golflink, things appear all right.
I play irregularly enough now that form slumps can have come and gone between rounds.
Guess it means I'm not trying to be too clever or take too many risks. Perhaps that's the secret?

And its done. A small confession - my first ever matchplay game and I enjoyed it a heck of a lot. It is probably how I should play golf all the time. Stroke by stroke, hole by hole, never give up.
    It went
HWOOWHOOH so turned at Hux +1
    then
OHHOHO to finish on the 15th at 4/3 to me. a chip in on the 11th probably made all the difference with a win on a shot I didn't get a shot on.

Westy plays smart all the time and I felt pressure the whole time.

Overall an excellent match - would have enjoyed it regardless of the win.

Thanks to Daves for the company and Briswesty for the match.
    Cheers
    Craig

    Today has come and gone.

Hux played his first game of match play and won 4/3. I didn't play too badly but to add insult to injury not only did I have to give him 7 shots, but he was about 5 under handicap through 15 holes. I think I only beat him on 2 holes and one of them was a birdie to his par.

Well played big guy, hope you continue to progress through the rounds.

No hole by hole description today

    Hux won 1, 6, 9, 11, 12 & 14
    I won 2 & 5

Was great to finally have a game with Hux and Daves

Ha, ha, Hux just filled it in at the same time as me.

Congratulations Hux, commiserations BrisWesty. Hux was just too hot today, despite some very steady golf from Westy. I think Hux had 34 points through the first 15 holes!.

Great day for a game of golf, thanks for the company guys!

35points actually Dave!! Amazing how I only managed 2 points in the last 3 holes. Shame the MP didn't go to the wire - I might have kept it together for 18 holes for a change.

Hmmm you're next mate. We will try and pull this together sooner rather than leaving it to the last day for cutoff. How long have we got?

    Nice win big fella.

    How was Coffs?

Might be a little ambitous, but maybe we can organise a foursome and Lucky & I can get our game out of the way !!

We've got till May 30 so no dramas time-wise.

Let's start up a thread and get some ideas/venues happening

only two 3 jabs in 15 holes Eags...and a chip in. Came good on the day cause the past week has varied been attrocious and bludy ordinary with 44 putts on MOnday, 42 on Tuesday and then came down to 40 on Thursday. The worst thing was I was 6 over the first two days and would have been in the money for champs nett event if I could have dropped it down to a more realistic 36putts
    Cheers
