Nice Daves, tell me the story about you in the paisley shirt belting out Unguarded Moment at the Belconnen RSL.

I had to google your man Beefheart

You must have been in a better spot than me - I thought it was one of the worst gigs I had ever been to - sound was terrible, venue terrible. Pretty sure Rose Tattoo were one of the supports and they seemed to be more interested than ZZ Top.

Ah, my favourite music era, love the eighties. I used to go and see a band that did 80s covers about 10 years ago. Still enjoying seeing a lot of them live these days. I am off to see Spandau Ballet and Tears for Fears in April.

If you're using the 'reply box' at the bottom of the page, or editing a post, you need to hit the 'advanced' button for it to come up.Here's a quick pic to help you out:

One of the great power ballad bands. Their other output was fantastic as well. Great band full stop.

Yeah, I was in a fairly good spot. A bit of a surreal experience with all of the bikies in the audience. I'd missed out on seeing ZZ Top play at the Arena in Nimes, France the previous year when I was on a Contiki-like tour (out voted), so I was stoked to see them on the Gold Coast.

This explain why I turned out the way I did I was an 11 year old walking around blaring this stuff in my walkman.

Most definitely NSFW. Proceed with caution.
