Talking Have you got a minute to vote for my laptop design?

    Hey guys

Before you ask, yes, the test forum is up and running and I just need to go over a few things before I do the install on the live forum. The template system is a bit different so I need to fiddle a bit to get our banners going etc.

Now, I was hoping you could do me a favour?

I have entered a laptop design competition which I have had 3 of my designs accepted for, but I need votes to be in the running. The top 25 designs are voted on by judges.

If you have a minute would you kindly vote, and if you are so inclined pass on to anyone else who would be nice enough to vote.

Here are my three designs. You can vote more than once so you can vote on each design if you want to.

    Thanks heaps guys!

    3 votes from me.

What was I voting for? And will they be running for a seat in state parliament?

Thanks so much to those of you who have voted, I still need more votes, so if you haven't already please do! I can't decide between Altered and the Not Your Ordinary Coaster as my favourite. I had done two more but they weren't accepted for some reason.

Still not playing enough GolfLink | Slightly less terrible stats brought to you by Golfshot - F: 57%, GIR: 23%, UD: 14%, P: 34. Wow, improvement! | Nickent brand ho or tightarse? You be the judge!

Yeah, I have a ways to go, but I only need to be in the top 25 to have a chance.. thanks so much everyone for all your efforts, I so appreciate it! The prize would be awesome and the cash would go a good way to paying off some debt!

Well, voting has finished. Rob's designs originally finished in 8th,9th and about 11th positions, so she made the top 25. But she suspected a few people were cheating, probably deleting cookies/cache whatever and voting over and over themselves. One person who finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd was gaining 200 votes an hour at one stage last night.

Anyway, voting finished earlier today, and about 2 hours after the voting closed the top 7 voted entries (3 from one person, 3 from another and 1 from another) disappeared from the comp, as did the one in 10th. Others from further down in the top 25 also disappeared.

So Rob has finished with hers in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Her 1st place, the coffee stains, had double the votes of 4th place and triple or more of the others. There is a prize for getting the most votes so she should be lucky there. The rest is now up to the judges who can pick from any of the 25.

But thanks to those that voted!

Oh, and her entries were the most viewed entries of the comp too!
