    I have to agree totally with hb. We played Burleigh on Wednesday and really enjoyed it, a very solid layout and it was is great condition. We played in our own group, following the member's comp. The locals we encountered were very friendly, and the GM looked after us.

    I presume the Goldie has had a lot more rain recently than we have? The greens were a touch slow, but very true and in great nick.

    As to comparison's to CTH (we played the River Course yesterday), you have to be kidding? CTH might be a better value club because you get 2 courses and better practice facilities. But design wise, and condition wise. Burleigh was at least a rung above CTH.
