I'm also allowed to question his post, and you can discuss my post, which I might also express an opinion about.

I'm not sure that's accurate Andy, but I have no interest in arguing the point with you

I can't believe her first is the French. It seems such a specialty surface, really didn't think the next Aussie Grand slam winner would take the French.Of course, I know nothing.

Her parents would agree. They had only just arrived in England to support her on her Wimbledon foray as they thought that would be her chance of going deep from what i read.

There are 32 seeded players in the draw and Barty only played one being Keys at 14. The stars aligned for her to get this victory. Bartoli won Wimbledon beating no seeded players.

Don't seeds often drop at the French, losing to clay court specialists?

Women's seedings doesn't really mean too much anyway, at the moment. It is pretty even, and "upsets" are common. Barty is good at not losing to those ranked outside the top 20 though. Anisimova getting rid of Halep was handy though, although Halep can be a bit of a Henno head.

Ash Barty is great but this is not about her. This is about the Elephant in the room or (EITR) who is an upstart flog and still causing issues on the court, should give him his marching orders.

I hope she can take the number one over Osaka. Not that Osaka doesn't deserve it, but she's another one of these flakey women's number one players, whereas Ash is super consistent. It will be interesting to see how the number one ranking (and number one seed at Wimbledon) sits on her shoulders.

It would be nice, she's playing great tennis. That was quite a good grass court win over Venus who still competes reasonably well.

Always good effort to beat an ex Wimbledon champ, well maybe not Bartoli.

Big match coming up for the Ipswich lass. Jim might roast one of his prize fowl if she wins.

If she doesn't win, she'll be two measly ranking points behind Osaka.

Knowing it’s two points is meaningless. Nobody knows how the points are calculated. Just like the supercar series
