Always good to watch someone hit winners off Nadal's best attacking shots.

Will the embarrassment circus continue or will he pull his head in and just play now?

    Nicely done by Barty!

The final is like a shoot out between Topflites and Honma.

Is Osaka as dumb as she sounds?

    Osaka about Barty:
Game? I think, I don't know, doesn't she ace a lot? She has one of the better serves, right? That, of course, is a really big weapon. Everyone knows she slices really well. The forehand, I think it's a heavy spin. Could be wrong. ind that out tomorrow.

Awesome way to finish the singles season, after winning the French, getting to number one, then locking in year end number one.

    Now for the Fed Cup.

Unbelievable. Hopefully she did as much damage to Garcia's confidence as Mladenovic's did to Ajla's.

Maybe Barty thought it was on games not rubbers like school tennis.

I have seen faster second serves in div 6 juniors than Ajlas dolly

She cannot play tomorrow with a free hit on every second serve

At least Stosur has the ability to get the ball in play, her kicker is one of the best in the game

    Until things get tight.

I didn't see today's play unfortunately, and I'm not sure how to from Vienna; I could only watch a twitter feed.

Surely, Alja would be more of a chance against Garcia. If not, then it's all about buying time for Barty to rest before the doubles.

Her power and penetration off the ground was way down as well. The only good thing is her potential opponent was pummeled as well. If Stosur was to play and lose it might potentially impact her doubles tho she did come thru in the semi under the same circs. It will be tempting to play Stosur who's got plenty of singles wins in this format.

Stosur did just make the final of a tournament recently, but didn't maintain that form in the next tournament.

September last year Garcia was no 4 in the world in singles and has been no 2 in doubles. Has 7 WTA singles titles and 6 doubles with the French Open in the mix.
Garcia has slumped to WTA 38 but she is 5 times the player Alja is.
She will give her a spanking.

Garcia is at 45, Alja at 51, Kiki at 39. Not much in it, but both of the French have been top 10, and shown at their best that they are superior to Alja. I think Kiki has been slowly on her way back to her best, but Garcia has been on the slide.

I'd still play Alja over Sam, but I am biased against Sam after watching her lose so many times. If she does play, it is a very interestng tie between the losers of their first rubber.

Is this the same Ajla? Second serve looks way better than yesterday. She has a good chance here, no question
