Tomic might be a dickhead, but his prep for this one was the best of his career, with 7 straight wins on clay immediately before the tournament. He still pocketed some cash and his ranking went up 30 places. And now he’s heading off to the grass court season which is his best surface.

Either way he’s in his mid-20s, has tons of cash and lives in Monaco. It’s not all bad.

And as for the Poo, surely that’s what money is for. The bloke wisely invested his millions in girls and fast cars. Legend. Sure beats working in an office all day.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

I'm sure some of you are disappointed that the Krygios v Tomic clash didn't happen.

Ron, I was going to jump in and say the same thing about his preparation for this tournament. He seemed to give a shit. Apparently his dad is coaching him again, which might be good for his tennis, but probably won't make him less of a "twat". (He didn't win 7 in a row by the way, because he was beaten by Millman in the final of the clay challenger.)

It's not surprising that he lost in a best of 5 match, considering how bad his fitness levels have been recently.

He clearly wasted a fair bit of the rest of it.

There was no mention of pissing any of it up against the wall.

Sorry to interrupt the focus on a woman’s body, but I’ll make a tennis post.

I don’t want Serena to win this tournament. If she does, while enhancing her legacy, it will not be good for women’s tennis. She has had too long out, and didn’t even bother with the lead-in tournaments, so if the top players can’t beat her, it reflects poorly on them.

However, I hope Serena can win a couple more grand slams to take the record off Margaret Court, who won several in an era when many top players didn’t bother traveling to Australia. Plus, it’s Margaret Court.

Oh, look, it's another Tennis thread bump for Kyrgios. If only there were other players and topics to discuss. Or even a dedicated Kyrgios thread to state your love.

Agree. And has delivered a healthy bump to the Henno betting account in the process.

I have to admit, the biggest bet was on an 'overs' offered by BetEasy at two bucks in round one, that delivered the profits without me breaking a sweat. My stakes have been smaller since then (although the odds higher) and only because of those initial profits.

I think I'll bow out now.
