I would say more than you think, especially if you include TV audiences. Krygios is in the second week of Wimbledon for the second year in a row BTW. And both Kyrgios and Tomic made the second week of the Australian Open this year.

I am playing a bit of the devil's advocate, but I don't think it is as black and white as Tomic being the bad guy, and TA being the good.

You may be right. But tomic has come across as a tosser for a while now. Father doesn't seem any better. I'm sure he's not begging on the streets to survive these days. And I have even less time for an entitled tosser.

Krygios has committed to Davis Cup, despite Tomic's comments.

He needs to be committed! He has totally lost the plot in the 2nd set against Gasquet. He got pinged again for audible obsenities and then spat the dummy and stopped trying! Newk is totally dumbfounded. Krygios has probably lost half his support base. Total wanker!

Yeah, Newk is a bit of a wanker.

It's bloody stupid stuff. Tanking a game to throw your opponent off is one thing, but a whole set is going a bit too far.....

He's good at living on the edge. He'll be hard to close out from here given how well he hung in under severe pressure.

From my experience, the game is so much easier when you try. It is definitely game on now, but has been a fair while since there was a service break.

You have to be worried when Dawn Fraser echoes your comments.

So they were saying he's said he just wants the respect of the aussie people. He'll learn as he gets older gaining respect isn't a given. It has to be earned, by what you say and what you do.

Some of what he does and says will need to change to gain the respect he says he doesn't have. First step, own up to your stuff ups rather than try and explain them away. Admitting when you f'ed up goes a long way.

Earning respect and expecting it are two very different things.

Still young, but he's still unproven in my opinion. Hasn't won on the main tour.

Losing that first set after looking so good won't help his cause.
