It's a car free zone on event days, just like it is around Lang Park or the Gabba.

The last trains leave Yeerongpilly a bit after 11, I think.
I didn't need them as I shuttle bussed to Corinda station where I had parked.

Tonic was good, Ito was terrible, Murray is a sooty ballbag.

Where you headed? Outbound there's a train at 1120 and 1220, inbound they are 1110, 1140 and 1210. Approximately.

Thanks guys. I could catch a train to Corinda & then shuttle bus but it looks like the better option is to drive to Corinda & park. Hopefully there's plenty of parking there.

I don't know how much parking there will be. I parked there at 7am in the morning and caught the train to work first, then went to the tennis straight from work in the evening. It shouldn't be too bad, as a lot of people haven't returned to work yet, and there are plenty of side streets.

It's outside of the restricted zone?

Corinda is a long way outside of the restricted zone. The restricted parking area for the tennis is within Yeerongpilly and Tennyson creeping down towards Graceville.

Lots of revenue for the council from parking fines, so far.

On the scoreboard last night, they put up what trains needed to be caught if you wanted to catch a connecting line in the city. One of them was just after 11, which is ridiculous, as the tennis would run that late sometimes.

FWIW I got out at 10:15p last night, thanks to Tomic winning his match in 44 minutes. The Sooky/Muller match took two hours.

Will be very surprised if Tomic wins his first match today. Out in straight straight is my call.

It's hard to read his form after playing and winning a pretend tournament.

    2 sets down now.

Davydenko is the best tanker of all time. I wonder how much he won off the bookies for losing today's match in 5 sets.

A good test of his class now, good players can pull these matches back from the brink.

I might be eating my words, amazing turnaround after fluffing the put away forehand on set point in the second set.

Hello...two sets all now. I'll be popping downstairs to the TV towards the end of the set if it's close or he's up.
