Agreed. Hard to imagine a tennis player being a bully though.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

And what's the biggest chokes of all time? I saw some girl the other day was up 1 set and 5-1 in the second and lost the set 7-6 and then 6-0 in the third.

Apparently it wasn't a choke. The other player (Halep) just freed up once down by that much, and played really well.

Novotna against Graf in a Wimbledon final is a choke that comes to mind for me in tennis.
    2 Jana NovotnaWimbledon final, 1993
Novotna led Steffi Graf 6-7 6-1 4-1 and at 40-30 in the sixth game of the deciding set had a service point for a 5-1 lead over the German. But Novotna double-faulted and arguably the greatest disintegration in a Wimbledon final had begun. Not much more than 10 minutes later Graf had won 7-6 1-6 6-4. The Duchess of Kent, trying to console the Czech player at the awards ceremony, said: 'Don't worry, Jana, you'll be back next year.' That did it for Novotna - 'I wanted to handle myself well,' she said, 'but when she smiled at me I just let go' - who wept uncontrollably on the Duchess's shoulder.
    Greg Norman mastered the choke.

Mentioning GN in a tennis thread, that's just not cricket!
I guess the importance of the choke should come into play. But still, leading 5-1 and then to win only one out of 13 games is pretty big.

Clijsters blew a rather significant lead against Serena out here in a semi.

Add Halep to the list, French open title and wirld #1 ranking tightened up her throat. Poor old killer!

Second most dominant FO ever, and at his career stage. Unbelievable. All we need now is for him or Federer to stamp themselves deep into Wimbledon.

Kyrgios is injured, and shouldn't have played against doctor's orders.

Tomic is like the rest of us; some days he likes his job, other days he doesn't. Right now, he doesn't really feel like going to work, but if he doesn't, he won't get paid. He'd like to get a promotion, but knows to get that he'd have to put in extra time and work, and doesn't think it is worth that extra effort, when he can just turn up and get by with what he does now. He probably considers quitting, but he doesn't know how to do anything else, as it is all he has been taught since he was a young boy, so he keeps turning up to the same job.

He doesn't have to turn up. He has enough to make it work for him his whole life if he wants, is smart, and doesn't want to live of millions per year. Sounds like a horrible fall back option.

He's just a dick, like many people are. Cept he's in the public eye, so everybody sees it, rather than just his mates taking behind his back. He's the Ron Jeremy of dicks.
