It sucks that the two Aussies are scheduled to meet next if they win. Hopefully Kyrgios can stay up for his next match against a lesser challenge.

When he's on song, he's an amazing tennis player. But just because he's great at tennis doesn't mean he's not a dick.

I'm a royalist.Although the stance of Wimbledon to ban all of the Russian and Belarusian players is controversial.

I thought there was a big push in all sports to respect the officials? Doesn’t really set a good example to your kids watching him abuse the lines people and umpires every match

That has been going on for a long time, though! Doesn't mean it's not wrong, just not anything new.

Sounds like something a Plantagenet apologist would say.

Those who know Nick from school and his mates love him. I am good mates with one of his ex-teachers from high school, and he can't speak highly enough of Nick, and how he gives back to those who helped him.

He is a phenomenal talent - he should be in major finals.

But my god, to the general public, he gives the image of nothing but a dickhead, on and off the court. It is who he is, and he won't change. Is he any worse than McEnroe or Connors? I'm not old enough to compare

I saw the news the other night when they reported he was being jerk, and then showed us the lowlights which was just talking to the umpire calmy, saying something about spectators bought tickets to watch tennis, so ie nothing. McEnroe was way worse than anything I heard about Nick. For giggles, look up Macenhoges, on youtube when Paul Hogan did a send up.

So in essence, It's actually the officials fault. If he's breaking rules then he can only be held accountable to the system that is in place

Pathetic fines are a waste of time considering what these guys earn, the only way to get the message across is defaults and suspensions that increase with each new charge.

Will never happen as the tournaments and tour are only concerned about money from sponsors and TV rights.

Nick's sponsors have always picked up his tab for any fines incurred.
