Definitely doesn't seem over yet. In his declaration he states he hadn't travelled in the 14 days prior to leaving for Aus, but that might not have been the case. If he had travelled, I reckon they'll cancel his visa again. Sure, it won't look good, but this has been a complete balls up, right from TA letting player know that having had covid was enough to come in. Whole thing could have been averted without that.

    Lol, that would be funny.
And all these ****ers going on about the Open needs him blah blah blah **** off.
I’ve been to multiple Aus Opens and people don’t go to watch one player, it’s all about the atmosphere and watching multiple games and players.
    He can **** right off imo…..smug ****.

The whole saga is an embarrassment for Tennis Australia and the Australian Government.
Doesn’t change my opinion of the Joker. Thought he was a complete flog before and still is.

Kyrgios has weighed in on this claiming to be “embarrassed to be an Australian”.

    How ironic.

trust the science, he has had covid twice, so he has better immunity than anyone who has been vaccinated.

We assume he's had covid twice... And apparently Serbia isn't happy, because if he tested positive on the 16th and then attended the event with the kids the next day, that is breaking Serbian covid rules and may have questions to answer about that.

He would probably have better immunity than double vaccinated fat arses anyway, due to diet, exercise, etc. This is a box ticking exercise.

I'm wondering if the delay in booting him or not, is about leaving it till the last second so they can stick him back in that hotel, and not be enough time to get a court appearance done and blow his ability to play?

Is anything being considered? Every media report i have seen is telling that the minister has the power to cancel his visa, and thats it.

I have not seen any mention that the minister is actually considering it, so looks like the media continuing a beat up.

The grounds usually used for the minister cancelling a visa is reserved for very serious matters that are in the public interest, and being a nob doesnt count. If it did, there would be nobody here.

Because it’s a difficult decision so they’re scared to make it. They’ll dump the decision around COB today and hope everyone is watching the cricket by then and won’t pay any attention to it. Then Scotty will probably fly off to Hawaii again. Joker is a colossal ****wit and has lied his arse off ever since the alleged positive test in Dec, across entry to multiple countries. But I hope he stays and plays just to hear him get relentlessly booed.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

I think it's difficult because the judge commented that they should go back to him before cancelling it again, and they don't wanna go through the mess if it's not going to stick! I think as the weeks gone on, the fallout from doing it again will be less, because D is looking less and less great as the week's gone on. I mean, if he did actually test positive, and the stuff he's said about not knowing when he was at the function with the kids, and then with the journo the next day, it appears (based on the journo's comments) that he didn't even let them know after the fact that he was covid positive when he was with them and that they may need to get tested. That alone looks pretty crap. Not that my opinion matters, but I have no doubts he's had the test result faked to get here. Which again, wouldn't have been an issue had TA not said having had covid was ok to come in. The fallout from booting him again is lessening more and more as time goes on.

He submitted the documents for his application to come here on Nov 16, so his Dec 16 positive test has no relevance to that process.

And gone (again)! Am a Djoker fan but 100% right outcome. Clearly tried to circumvent the system and his disrespect (of the laws of our country),has bit him in the ar$e. Go away and try harder next time! 😉

What's the case for deportation on top of the previous failed attempt? For the health, safety and good order of the Australian community? Sure. What risk does he pose to the community? Good luck in court wasting more tax payers' money, Government.

I don't get why it's such an issue to boot him, if he didn't meet the requirements for entering the country? Sure, it's been an f up by everybody involved so far. If TA had not said having had COVID was a reason for an exemption, would be have been here? Complete f up, that shouldn't have been such an issue.

Thats it. It is in the public interest of Australia to keep this healthy un-infectious person away from all vaccinated infected persons. Its a pandemic of the unvaccinated remember
