Default What did you learn today?

For me it was not to use unleaded with ethanol in the lawnmower. It seems that ethanol being a grain based fuel absorbs moisture which reduces the efficiency of the motor during wet weather conditions. The mechanic at the mower shop put me on to it when I couldn't get the mower to run properly. My mower had a complete overhaul in December so I knew it was a fuel issue.

Knowing this I will not be using the stuff in the car.

Ethanol based fuel is false economy. It might be 4c per litre cheaper, but uses 5-10% more to generate the same amount of power. You lose out long term.

Stay away from the rubbish and pay the few cents more.

7yo girls piss me off big time!

Have had enough of looking after her for the holidays and want to get rid of her.
The box that she kept her shoes in bore my wrath, it is in lots of little pieces now. I needed to let the anger out somewhere.

That daylight saving rules! Just down here in country VIC and ducked out for 9 holes at 6:30pm!!

Managed to squeeze in about 15 holes and would have been tempted to play out to dark if I knew my way around the course.

Despite 4" of rain since June to the week before Christmas, I should take an umbrella onto the golf course with me... especially with rain overnight and an overcast day.

**** I got wet at Coraki today.

I also learned 3 days of straight golf isn't really conducive to good golf.
