That the Callaway Big Bertha Diablo irons were initially made for the Japan market under its Legacy line of clubs. This model was so popular that Callaway decided to release the irons in Australia and because of their popularity here the decision was made to put them on the US market. Awesome irons.

How the ProV 1 was named. The Titleist ball design team led by Bill Morgan (lare80's early 90's) came up with the idea of combining a urethane cover with a a multi-layer design. The decision was made to put a very thin layer of urethane on the surface of a two-piece distance ball. The project was called "Veneer", in reference to the very thin cover.
The ball was first played in a tour event in 1996 at the Greater Hartford Open. The next time it made it on tour was in Las Vegas in 2000. The USGA had set a deadline for getting balls on the conforming list so a name had to go on the submission form. Morgan came up with Pro (for professional), V (for veneer) and 1. The name stuck.

I worked out on the course that on average a eagle takes 3 good shots, birdie takes two, a par one and a boggie none.
Boggie?
I didn't work out how to spell it though. Is it boogie?
That's better.
It usually only takes one good shot for me to have a boogie.

What about a boggie?
No don't answer that.
1 shot of Laxette's.
Boggie in the urban dictionary means cigarette. No good shots for the hole, then stick a boggie in your mouth.
But only on holes that are boggie free. Are you related to Zig?

That you dont always get what you paid for.
Getting much better consultations and advice for free from a University Professor dental surgeon than a private practice porsche driving counterpart, whom I paid $150 for 10 minutes most of which was spent reading to me from a brochure, and i swear i heard him say 'ching ching' as he wrote out a quote.
