A couple of minutes with the tyre black will fix that.

I Learnt that Pinuata (if that is how you spell it) shold be barred from kids parties. Tayla got trampled today in the rush to get the lollies after it was busted open. Was 6yo birthday party, she was quick of the mark but got trampled by the other 35 kids as they got to the lollies. I heard her head hit the concrete then saw 2 kids stand on her head. To say I was pissed off as the other mothers at the party just thought it was fun was an understatement.

I was there alone as Rachelle was sick in bed and i had to do the party run.

Tell her to harden up. It's survival of the fittest at 6 yo parties.

I thought so Mike. She is 7 so was a little bigger than the girls there but the guys were a little rough. Also there were 35 kids involved it was a party at my Brother in laws where his wife is there to impress, she invited the whole year at the kids school and the teachers.

That sucks Grunt. I could only imagine how you felt!

I've always thought the one invite for every year of their age rule as a good one. A 6 year old gets to invite 6 friends etc.

Piniatas are plain dumbass things. Nothing sounds worse than your kid's head hitting concrete.

Especially the fact that just after the noise you can't see her for the bodies over her. Father in Law's partner said afterwards she saw Tayla go in the mess but could not see her as i was pulling kids off her.

We have done this a few times, and each time regretted it.

One story similar to yours, though learnt the best lesson from the last one, which will be the last one.

Do not put hard lollies in it. At my daughters 4th b'day, my son (8 yrs) nailed the piniata, and smashed lollies across the room, getting 'shards' in his grandmothers eyes, and smashing into the walls at very high speed. Could have been a lot worse.

But geez he hit it well.

That paying $450 for a dog is apparently good value (since it's worth $800 but has an underbite so is worth a lesser value). Seems like a canine version of carton damage or something else that you'd find on electrical appliances from Seconds World.

The end result is that thanks to my sister's investment, my family is buying a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Not quite a baby, but a new addition nonetheless.

That telling the missus that she must be experiencing menopause doesn't go down very well. Especially when I should have learnt that same lesson about 28 days ago.

I wonder what the people who reject the reasons to celebrate either will do on that day?
