That I am not, nor should I ever attempt to be, a plumber.

Water gushing, finger damn near broken, problem still not fixed, sitting here sobbing into a beer trying to figure out what my next move is.

    Get a plumber.

I learned that cheap kids bikes are shits of things to fix.
And working in the 45 degree garage makes my tolerance to frustration very low.

Default What did you learn today?

My first move would be turn off the water at the mains. Give yourself time to think

Yeah, I've at least got that far with the mains.

Do like the idea of the dirty motel though.

Was from under the bathroom sink. Painted the bathroom this weekend and now trying to replumb the vanity.

Why do things never go back on the way they were?

Ahhh. You had to pull the vanity out to paint behind it or something?

Surely things just screw back together? You may need some thread tape....

I guess worst case is you just seal the pipe up somehow, then you can turn the water back on and at least use everything other than he bathroom taps while you wait for a plumber.

Glad I am not the only one who sometimes has DIY issues

Yep, spot on. Was without water all weekend as we had to do 4 bloody coats. How did people live without running water?

To much risk of life and limb I think I've got it sorted. Painful, torn shit out of my fingers, banged wrists and fingers, but 99% sure I got it.

I learnt that shooting a 12 gauge in a hole that a snake went into will not necessarily kill a brown snake!

When a mate says he has a couple of freebie rounds at Coolum and asks if you wanna go, you shouldn't spend 3 weeks assuming it's Palmer Coolum

To get a morning appointment, if ever I need to go to Titleist's place of work.

It's not that I can even chance it for the sober technician, if they've all been to the club.
