Tewantin on the 15th, Hope Island on the 16th, as per the SEQ Open Days thread.

I suppose all of the playing spots are taken.

It's not worth starting a new thread for this. This year it's Monday the 17th and the same names that jarro mentioned above will be playing, plus Bowditch.

My employer is a silver sponsor, so I get a gig playing. I'm in a group with Nick Cullen at 11:12a. Has anyone heard of him? In our other corporate group, the pro is Ryan Haller; I've heard of him, but I don't know why.

Ryan Haller's brother was knocking off Karrie Webb for a while.

Cullen finished T18 in the Oz Open, and I think was in the Top 10 going into the final round. He also finished in the Top 10 at the Masters.

I see Haller is the early leader at the PGA, 4 under through 6.

Haller had the low round at the Qld open as a young fella when it was at Windaroo (95/96?) ... Think it may still be the course record.... He can play.

Haller is good mates with a guy I work with, that's why I knew the name. We are trying to swap the groups, so they can play together. Bowdo hits off just before us.

Good luck to PShaw in the morning too.

    The original thread was 2009.

I prefer thread mining to yet another new thread about not much.

I am playing in this and I am in Ian Baker Finch's group. Peter Senior is in front of us. Should be a fun day.

You must be tight with BMD to get in IBF's group, nudgee.

The pro in my group is 5 under at the turn after playing the back nine first.

4 group wait for the next tee.

Cullen. He was almost OOB on our first, but trees saved him.

Haller is E. I think 7 or 8 was the leading score when we hit off.

Yeah mate quite tight with BMD - we do a lot of projects together.

BTW I have never been so nervous teeing off as I was this morning - there was a gallery of about 50 people that followed us for the whole freaking round! Pulled out driver off the first and was the only one to keep it in the fairway just short of the green - IBF and the other pro hooked it into the trees. It was a bloody enjoyable round and IBF was just awesome to play with - as down to earth as anyone i have met. Once the bloody nerves calm down, I played well but putted woefully - for some reason I could not "feel" the pace of line of the greens. Had 8 birdie putts and 5 off them I three putted!!!
